day 1 there are no codes, maybe that's the problem
did you do it at the specific server or at the main base? you need to drive out there to get the codes
also getting dynamic lights like glowsticks and lamps is far kinder on your system than the static lights of the base (it's backwards, but it works)
the static lights in the base are completely unoptimized. ironically, the dynamic lights from glowsticks and spotlights are far better for performance
static base lights are far worse than the dynamic ones, too, so turn them off for more frames
just wait until you go around with the metal detector
the one from the drone should pop after a minute or so, the big ones just take a bit. each thing you use does a diff amount of damage

i think new kerfus should have a scuffed maxwell pose when idle or recharging
there's a workbench in garage. find blueprint at the other bunker, put it on the workbench and follow instructions
root is even just one of the servers in the back of the main room, any of them could be targeted the same way

turning shadows to 0 made my pc not boil eggs any more, maybe that helps.
